Stars & Highlights of the Week

12th Jun 2026

It has been another busy and exciting week across the school. We proudly celebrated our Stars of the Week, recognising pupils for their hard work, kindness, and positive attitudes.

We also enjoyed a fantastic Sports Day, filled with fun, participation, and great sportsmanship. It was wonderful to see all of our pupils getting involved and giving their best effort.

Our Primary 7 pupils took part in a Streetwise session, learning valuable life skills and gaining important advice for the future.

A huge thank you to George Murphy, who visited the school this week to share his love of music with the children. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the singing sessions and loved getting involved.

Well done to our boys who competed in the Castle Cup. They did brilliantly to reach the final and represented the school with great determination and teamwork. While they narrowly missed out on the win, we are incredibly proud of their efforts.

We would also like to thank Ronan for spending his work placement week with us. It was lovely having him as part of the school community, and we wish him every success in the future.

A special thank you to Shelaine, who has been working in P3/4 over the past few months. We are so grateful for all of her help, support, and dedication, and we wish her the very best in the future.

Congratulations to two very talented sisters who proudly showed us their Irish dancing trophy this week. Their hard work and commitment have certainly paid off - a fantastic achievement!

Finally, a huge well done to our Primary 4 pupil who competed in motocross. We are so proud of his achievement and hope he had a fantastic experience.

We hope everyone has a lovely weekend!
