Stars & Highlights of the Week 5.12.25
It has truly felt like Christmas at St. Mary’s this week! Our pupils enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner, complete with festive jumpers, big smiles, and plenty of excitement. A heartfelt thank-you to the wonderful staff who prepared, served, and organised the meal — it was such a special treat for the children, and their joy said it all.
We proudly celebrated our Stars of the Week, recognising pupils who continue to shine brightly through their effort, kindness, and positive attitudes.
A special well done to our talented Primary 6 musician who played a gig at the Everglades this week — a brilliant achievement and such a confident performance at such a young age. What a star in the making!
Our Shared Education continued this week, offering another chance for pupils to learn alongside their friends from our partner school — building confidence, connections, and community.
We also gathered together for Adoration, a calm and meaningful moment in our week. Thank you to Laura and Paddy for leading the children and for the thoughtful Christmas sweets gifted to each class.
Our Christmas Post Box is now open at the front of the school, and the children are loving posting cards to their friends — a lovely way to spread festive cheer.
And finally, excitement is truly building… our Christmas Show takes place this week, and we cannot wait to welcome families to see just how wonderful, talented, and enthusiastic our pupils are. It’s set to be magical!
We celebrated two birthdays this week — Eilís and Sonya — and the children at Wraparound were delighted to enjoy some yummy cake.
