Stars of the Week 16.05.2025
This week at school has been full of sunshine, teamwork, and special preparations!
Our Stars of the Week were proudly celebrated during assembly for their brilliant work, effort, and positive attitude—well done to all!
On Monday, our Skill School Dance Club kicked off the week with energy and fun.
Tuesday saw our pupils take part in a beautiful Rosary Procession to the Chapel, a lovely moment of reflection during this special month of May.
Wednesday brought great excitement as our girls took part in the North Derry Girls’ Football Championships in Glenullin—a huge well done to all who represented the school!
Thursday was a busy day, primary 1 and 2 had a lovely walk around our playground to look for signs of summer. Singing with Aoife Mullan and Martin Kealey as well as tin whistle with George Murphy. We also had Gaelic and Fundamentals Club running, as well as a very informative Wraparound Care Information Evening—thank you to all who attended.
On Friday, staff were busy preparing for our First Holy Communion celebrations in the community centre—setting up a welcoming and special space for our Primary 4 pupils and their families. A huge thank you to everyone involved in helping.
We would like to take this opportunity to send our very best wishes to our wonderful Primary 4 class, who will be celebrating their First Holy Communion on Saturday 17th May. This is such a special moment in their faith journey, and we are so proud of each and every one of them.
Throughout the week, the children have made the most of the lovely weather, enjoying outdoor play and activities with lots of creativity and fun.
Wishing all our pupils and families a restful and happy weekend!
