Sports Day kicked off with great excitement as the whole school made their way safely to St. Colm’s Pitch, in their high-vis vests with staff and parent escorts—ready for a day full of fun, fitness, and community spirit.
The sun was shining, the spirits were high, and our pupils gave it their all across a fun-filled carousel of sporting events. Children were grouped into colourful teams—Red, Blue, Green, and Purple—and rotated through each station with energy, laughter, and brilliant sportsmanship.
A huge congratulations to the Red Team, who were crowned overall winners!
But every child was a star today—your effort, encouragement, and joy made us all incredibly proud.
A heartfelt thank you to St. Colm’s, Drum, for the use of their fantastic facilities—it was so special to bring the school and wider community together in such a lovely space.

- The brilliant Year 10 pupils from St. Patrick’s College, Dungiven,
- And Lynch’s Spar Dungiven for keeping our athletes fuelled with water and bananas!
