Stars & Highlights of the Week

14th Nov 2025

We’ve had a packed and exciting week of learning and fun!

Our classes took part in the W5 “Planet Plastic” workshop, exploring how we care for our environment and reduce waste — a brilliant, hands-on learning experience.

We wore odd socks for Anti-Bullying Week, celebrating kindness, individuality, and reminding everyone that it’s okay to stand out and be themselves.

We also welcomed pupils from Drumrane and St. Canice’s, Feeny as part of our Shared Education programme. It was a fantastic day of teamwork, friendship, and shared learning, with all three schools working beautifully together.

Our after-school activities were in full swing too:

  • Combat Kids - The children had brilliant fun at Combat Kids, showing great energy, teamwork and resilience.
  • Arts & Crafts - it was full of colour and creativity, with pupils making some fantastic pieces
  • Line Dancing — the children were so impressive this week; they did amazingly!
  • Minecraft Club
Plus Hurling with P3/4, which the children absolutely loved.

A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who donated a shoebox — these thoughtful gifts will make such a big difference and bring smiles to those receiving them.

Breakfast Club and Wraparound Care run five days a week — please remember to book your children in if they are attending.

We also celebrated our wonderful Stars of the Week, as well as two pupils who received this week’s PE Certificates — one from KS1 and one from KS2 — each recognised for their brilliant sportsmanship and positive attitude. Our winners were even awarded a basketball!

We hope everyone has a lovely, restful weekend!
