A huge congratulations to our wonderful Primary 4 pupils who made their First Holy Communion on Saturday. The children were simply fantastic—singing beautifully, reading with such confidence, and taking part with great joy and reverence. It was a truly special occasion, and we are so proud of each and every one of them.
After the ceremony, families were warmly welcomed into our beautifully decorated community centre hall, where they enjoyed tea, buns, and a chance to celebrate together. A heartfelt thank you to Ms Doherty, Sonya, Claire and rest of the staff for all their hard work in preparing the hall and making everything so special. Thank you also to Fr. Sweeney for leading such a meaningful and thoughtful Mass, and to the photographer for capturing memories the children and their families will cherish.
Today the celebrations continued in school as our P4 pupils dressed up once again in their smart suits and beautiful dresses for a special Communion parade. They proudly walked through the school, greeted with smiles and applause from everyone —a truly lovely way to mark such an important milestone in their faith journey. Well done, P4!
